Mumu with PEP

So what is a Mumu?  It's a traditional PNG meal.  Traditionally the men prepare the fire while the women prepare the food.   Stones are placed in a pit, the fire is started, and food is prepared (including pork, lamb and chicken and vegetables).  The food is then wrapped in foil and cooked in the hot coals for 45 minutes.

A couple of weeks ago our PEP group enjoyed time together preparing food, fire, and fun.  A happy event to return to in person after a long break from physical gatherings.  Thanks PEP organisers and participants!
