The Synod Growth Investment Fund 2025 round is now open. Applications close 28 March 2025.
The Synod Growth Investment Fund 2025 round is open
Applications are open for each of the three grant streams: Missional Grants (up to $10,000), Innovation Grants (up to $100,000) and Strategic Grants (up to $500,000).
The closing date for this round is 28 March 2025.
Those applying for a Missional or Innovation Grant will need to submit the relevant application form by this date. If you are interested in applying for a Strategic Grant, you will need to submit an Expression of Interest (EoI) by this closing date. The EoI is the first stage of the Strategic Grant process and can only be submitted with the support of Presbytery.

There will be a second round in August 2025 for Innovation and Missional Grants only. Further information will be communicated closer to the time.

The Synod seeks to support a small number of projects each year through the Synod Growth Investment Fund that will help the Uniting Church grow in discipleship, relationship, number and impact. It gives congregations the opportunity to apply for funding to support growth and to inspire genuine renewal.
The Synod Growth Fund is supported through the Seeds of Growth contribution made by Congregations and Presbyteries. God is calling us to become a contemporary, courageous, growing Church proclaiming Jesus Christ in worship, witness and service. This is the vision statement from the Future Directions which will guide the Synod into the future.
